Kristina's Color Challenge

DSCN5829

CI37 It has been a long time since I've gotten the time to play along in one of Kristina's color challenges.  I always love her color combos and of course adoring her creative style just goes without saying....  You can see her color inspiration challenge HERE on her blog.  I think that it's a toss-up whether I like color inspiration challenges or sketch challenges best.  The two are definitely my favorite types of challenges to participate in.  What about you?

DSCN5830To make the leaves I dissected one of the Old Olive Flower Fusion assortment from SU!.  The Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip flowers come from the Flower Fusion Too assortment from SU!.  The little clear rhinestones are from Michael's and they are single, adhesive-backed rhinestones.  I really like them and need to go get some more!!

I know I told you I'd post my card for the SCS challenge, but I'll do that tomorrow.  Hope you like my card.  It's one I actually need to get in the mail tomorrow, so I was glad to have this color inspiration to get me going on it.  I hope you make it a great day!

Stamps:  Inspired by Nature
Paper: Baja Breeze and Whisper White CS
Ink:  Chocolate Chip classic ink
Accessories:  Paper Piercing Tool and Template, Flower Fusion and Flower Fusion Too flowers, Clear Adhesive-Backed Rhinestones

  1. Your cards are so perfectly and carefully crafted! Do you eyeball the placement of everything? Or do you measure?
