Limelight Six Chicks Challenge #12

 So, I really liked the sketch over on the Limelight Papercrafts blog.  It is their 12th challenge over there and if you haven't checked it out, you should.  HERE is the link to the sketch.  I decided I wanted to make a manly Valentine's card.  I hadn't made one for my hubby yet and thought I would use this sketch to do it.  I wanted to keep the LO pretty much the same as the sketch to keep it clean and "masculine".  I did change the shape of the card and the layer of CS with the image.

 As for the details, those are some Thickers alphabet stickers and the heart is another heart from the Sticky Cuts Letters package.  I thought I'd cover the heart in chunky glitter 'cause what man doesn't like chunky glitter, right?  That's masculine....well, maybe I shouldn't have used the glitter, even if it is chunky.  Also, every time I so much as LOOK at the card, it makes some of the glitter fall off. That chunky stuff is hard to get to stick and coat your tacky surface as well as the more fine glitters!!  I really had to press that stuff in to the sticky heart!!!

The other thing I shouldn't have done when making the card was to lose track of the time because my husband got home and walked in on me making it and totally saw the card.  I don't give them to him if he's seen them.  So....now I have to figure out who to give it to!! I guess a female relative or something.  Good thing none of my immediate family looks at my blog!! ;)
