Idea Book CASE
You know, I can't say it enough to my customers and fellow stampers how much I truly do love the Idea Book & Catalog for the part of it that is an Idea Book. I am in a swap that a good friend is hosting on SCS that is a Catty "Sort Of" swap. After making my swap card based on the 3x6 card using Heartfelt Thanks on page 84, I came up with this variation. Tomorrow's card was also inspired by it, but changed even more. In the Catty "Sort Of" swap you are to change only the colors and embellishments, but keep the stamp sets used and the placement of the images exactly the same. The card I chose to CASE used rub-ons and we were allowed to swap out those for a stamped image since it's not reasonable to buy 10 pkgs of rub-ons to get ten of the same image. So...as I said, this card was inspired by the one I CASED but as you can see from the picture in the catty on page 84 it's not exactly the same. My swap card is much more similar but in different colors. Now that you're thoroughly confused, you'll just have to see Monday's post for the second card and my swap card will be posted once everyone has received theirs.
I promise the paper piercing shows up perfectly in real life, and so does the word "heartfelt" I've been lazy lately and haven't been using my photo tent to take my pics. Oh, and do you see that lovely "mat" that is under my card??? I LOVE it!!!
I hope you're having a great day and as always, I appreciate you checking in on me so much and we'll see you back here on Monday!!!

Woohooooo!!!! You got your Scor-Pal and Scor-Mat! Other than my mass produced Christmas cards, I haven't used the combo that much. I generally stamp at my desk but the Scor-Pal and Scor-Mat were great when I moved out to the couch to work on my cards.
ReplyDeleteCute CASE!
Pretty!!! Love that bow!
ReplyDeleteNice CASE! I think CASEing the catalog is a fine idea!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I have the exact same photo station you do. ;-) I love my Scor-Pal!!!
What a great card!
ReplyDeleteI love using the Idea Book for inspiration.
Have a great weekend Marie!
nice case. I love the inspiration that I get when using the catty. I can't wait to see the one that you did for the swap.
ReplyDeletedon't you just love the new textured dsp?
I think I need to take a closer look at my catalog. I think I look too much at the product and forget to look at the examples. I love how you use cards to inspire your own creations!
ReplyDeletewow! I love what you have created with this CASE (I saw your post for today with another card, too!) There are great samples in the catty, I need to try this. Oh, and thanks for your sweet comments on my blog, Marie!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Love the splash of blue.
