Blog Candy!!!!

I can't believe that I'm so close to 15,000 visits to my blog!! I will be giving away some blog candy which will include a stamp set and some other goodies. When I get a chance, I'll add a picture to this post. You know the drill, leave a comment on this post and you're entered into the drawing. To make it fun, why don't you give me a suggestion for a first name for our baby boy. I can't guarantee we'll use it, but who knows!!! ;) His middle name will be Peter, if that helps. It's typically a first name, but we're putting his Daddy's first name as his middle name. I'll use a random number generating program to pick the winner this time. You get to enter up until Tuesday, April 10th at noon, at which time I'll announce the winner. I'm pretty sure that I'll hit 15,000 by then :) Can't wait to see your suggestions!!!

Edited to add: I have decided on most of the blog candy. It will be the stamp set Doodle That from the Spring Mini catalog. See it here. I will also include an alterable picture frame, some 6x6 patterned paper, some embossed pieces of card stock (using my Cuttle Bug A2 embossing folders), some ribbon, and some die cuts made with my Cuttle Bug dies. I hope it sounds fun, and sorry for not having a picture. We're trying to recover from my parents leaving early this morning and I doubt I'll get time to take a picture before the drawing. I promise whoever wins the stuff will love it!!!

  2. I Like Allison like the name of my son's. I have two boys named Tyson, and Jamen. I guess it kinda depends what goes with your other child's name. Can't wait to hear what you decide. I found it harder to pick a second child's name than the first. Best wishes. liz Utah

  14. I have always loved the name Jonathan. I was to use that myself until my SIL named her son John. So I got a Benjamin-but we call him Obiwan-so guess what movie came out the week he was born? I also like Adam but a lot depends on what your last name is. I have a short last name so my kids have longer first names for a better flow.

  15. I like the old fashioned names that everyone can spell. Since his middle name will be Peter, how about James or John. Actually I have sure both you and your hubby have thoughts on a name so....maybe another family name in there? Good luck. Can't wait to hear what you decide for a name.

  25. I tell everyone having a boy to name their son, Logan. It was one of my favorite boy names, but my husband never liked it. I tried to use it three times (yes, I have three boys) and he shot it down each time. Three others for you are:Joshua,Ryan, and Nicholas (the names of my three sweet boys)Have fun, I think boy names are hard to come up with.

  61. My son's name is Jackson. We chose a first name with a "J" because we were going to use Patrick for the middle (my hubby's twin's first name) and I wanted the option of calling him "JP." In the end, my hubby got final say (b/c I supposedly chose our 1st child's name -- Hannah Elizabeth). So we have Jackson Samuel Patrick -- a mouthful, I know! And what's funny is we just call him "Jack" or "Jack-Jack."If we'd had a second boy, we were going for William Kristopher (my hubby's first name is Kristopher), and were planning to call him "Will." But we ended up with another girl: Katherine Lorraine ("Kate" for short & the Lorraine is for my hubby's mom).I have friends who just named their little guy Isaac which is awesome for a boy and not too common. I really like Aaron -- love, love, love that for a boy! (My hubby vetoed it, though.)Oh, baby names are SO much fun! GOOD LUCK & congrats. . .

  62. Ian or Ethan would be my choice.

  63. I LOVE the title of your blog....in fact I was looking at someone else's blog when I saw the name and thought I have to check out this blog cause I love the name. As far as boys name go I am partial to NICHOLAS, that is the name of my little guy. NICHOLAS PETER has a nice ring to it. Then again you could go with something like JACOB PETER and call him J.P. for short. Anyways just my 2 cents...back to checking out the rest of your blog.

  64. sorry had to post again, don't expect to be entered twice though...just noticed that one of your DD names was EMMA, thought this was funny cause that is my DD name...perhaps NICHOLAS is not such a bad idea....great minds think a like....LOL

  65. Oh, after reading all the fun, hip names the others have posted. I feel a little boring but the name I picked is Joseph. Joseph Peter...

    ReplyDelete
  66. I've always liked more original or unique names. My sons names are traditional but we spelled them differently to give them originality. My eldest son is Skatt (Scott) and my youngest son is Schon (Sean). I noticed a couple of the other ladies mentioned these other names that happen to be my sons middle names... Grayson, Daniel, and Jakob. My dad has two middle names so both of our boys were given two middle names - kind of a tradition. So the other middle name is Clapton - my hubby is a HUGE Eric Clapton fan. Some other boy names are Aiden, Trevin, Laurence, Nathanial, Brandon, James, Osrick, Patrick... I could go on and on... Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy! Can't wait to hear what you name your precious little boy! ~Crystal M.

  75. Boy names are SO hard. We came up with a total of 2 names that dh and I could agree on. One that we chose (that we didn't use) was Gabriel Pierce. The main reason I didn't go for Gabriel is because people would shorten it to Gabe and I don't like Gabe. But Gabriel would go with Peter...especially if you are of the religous sort.Janetroopersma on SCS
