This post will be kept as a sticky at the top so no one misses it. Don't be intimidated...it will only take about 10 min or less to play!!!
So, I'm going to have a little scavenger hunt to give away some BOOT LOOT!!! I love the 4th of July. The barbecue, the fireworks, time spent with family and friends, and most importantly, the reason for the celebration. It's a really wonderful holiday, and having served in the AF and still being a military family, it has extra special meaning.
In honor of this holiday I thought I would celebrate with you by giving you an entire July kit from Go. Be Creative. I've shown it to you several times, but just in case you haven't seen it you can check it out in more detail here. The kit retails for $30 - $36 depending on which membership you choose with the kit club. I will draw a winner from those who post their answers IN THE COMMENTS SECTION OF THIS POST.
Here's what you have to do. You have to go to GBC and locate the answers to three questions. YOU DO NOT NEED A USERNAME TO PLAY!!! I thought it would help you get a little familiar with the wonderful site, store, and message board. Number your answers please and make sure to leave your name with your comment/answer and an e-mail address so I can contact you if you win. I will announce the winner on July 1st so you have until July 1st at 8:00 a.m. central time to enter your answers. The kit will be shipped directly to you from GBC.
Please answer the following three questions:
Scavenger Hunt:
1. In the Message Board I want you to tell me which forum contains the posts by me(mariemc) and Annette (jazzgodezz) who is the other DT member. Our posts show links to our July Kit projects that we have completed so far (you can check out the links if you would like, of course! ;) ).
2. In the Gallery I want you find your favorite project posted there and post the link as your answer to this question (you can just copy and paste - you don't have to do anything fancy. I would love to hear why it's your favorite project too. Do some digging to really find your favorite :)
3. In the Store I would like you to find your favorite item/s and tell me what it is (they are) and why. Try not to just say something that just pops up on the first screen unless it really is your favorite ;)
There are lots of other great features to GBC, but it would take forever for you to delve through them all and post answers here, so we'll keep it to those three questions. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing what you have to say!!!

This is the Weight Watchers book! I know corny choice, but I love the creativity. I am always looking for a fun new gift idea and I have a ton of friends and family doing weight watchers. I don't know that I'll ever get around to making any of these, but I could at least tell my friends about this new idea to spruce up the boring weight loss project. Really I liked all the different notebooks throughout the site, this was the most creative!
3. So I am lovin this paper:

There are a lot of great projects in there! I ended up picking this one because I really like the colors and it's cute! It gives ideas with it's mixture of "textures", it says that you can... be creative!
3. In patterned paper: Sassafrass Lass Felicity- Ambiance ... Cute!

ReplyDeleteMarie's: Marie's last sneak peek for July's kit, Here's a sneak peek, July sneak peek #s 2, 5 and 4.
Annette's: My last sneak peek, sneak #6, and July sneak #3.
2. http://www.go-be-creative.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=84&pos=14. I actually had a hard time deciding between all the projects. At first I chose some cards from the card explosion: Ooops! and card 8, but then I was interrupted and when I came back I saw the July post with the Little Diva and I love it! I also like your thanks card and Daniel's faces. I like them because of their simplicity. Sometimes pages have too much on them that take away from the photos. I liked the little extra touches that made your pages unique, too.
3. I like all the 7Gypsies Nottinghill papers. They are all very classy and so versatile.
Do I have to repost here as well? I posted on your old blogspot? Please let me know!!! yippee!
