My blog counter hit 65,000 sometime this afternoon while I was stamping. I will show you that card in the next post.
Here are a couple of pictures of the items I'm going to give away in my Boot Loot. It consists of 12 sheets each of the SU! Designer Series Prints Paper in Bayou Blue, River Rock and Groovy Guava cut to 6 x 6 size (the paper is not cut yet in the picture). You get an assortment of the Die Cut blooms that are on Pumpkin Pie and Real Red textured CS. I've also included some beads and hat pins from the Paper Pretties kit, some SU! On Board chipboard stars and hearts, and lastly, this set from the last Sale-a-Bration called So Many Scallops. It is die-cut, new and unmounted.
I hope someone out there thinks this is a good Loot to try to get, so that we can have some fun with what you have to guess to win it. If no one guesses correctly I will use the random.org number generator to pick a winner. If there's a tie of only two people, the first one who commented will be heads, the other tails, and I'll just flip a coin. More than two people in a tie will be given a number 1 through however many there are in order of time/date of comment and I'll use the random.org number generator to pick the winner.

I apologize for my guess in advance, because it's kinda gross....Is it Ringworm or Chiggers? (I'm a teacher, so I know about ALL kinds of ailments!)

ReplyDeleteI think it is from a snap or grommet from your capris or crop pants. I am so happy when I am camping and it is so early in the morning that no one else is up and I walk my little doggie around the campground in the peace and quiet enjoying the nature around me. ReplyDeleteI am terrible at guessing anything. I do like the suggestion that the mark was left with the heat gun, though! If you are going to go down, at least go down doing something fun :-)I'll add something that makes me happy, too. I'm looking forward to settling in with a few good books this summer. I haven't worked out what I want to read yet, but just the thought of picking out some books and knowing I will make time to read them (maybe sitting on the back porch with a glass of lemonade) makes me happy!Thanks for sharing the fun blog candy!

ReplyDeleteYou silly ladies...it HAS to be from a large eyelet!! You were working at your table or desk when you dropped an eyelet on the floor and since it was the last one of that color and you absolutley NEEDED it right at that moment, you got down on all 4's until your knees hurt, so you sat on your bum with both knees bent to the side and was searching and searching all over for the little piece of hardware to finish your card and when you finally stood up, there it was, stuck to your leg!! :D YA, that must be the answer!! LOL...at least that's what would've happened to ME!!

ReplyDeleteWow, I like all of the answers you got so far. My first thought was the heat gun, too. But that gets much to hot and would leave a nastier mark. So the next thought was, that you were sitting on something. But what?? I really can't decide. So I'm gonna tell you hat makes me happy instead... I am always happy, when the first strawberries in my garden are sweet and red and ready to get eaten! That is the thing, that made me happy today. Of course there are many more things...

"it looks like it came from a coin that was under your leg as you had it tucked up under your bottom while stamping.." or perhaps it showed up one morning after a wild night out while being abducted by aliens LOL Whatever it was, hope it has cleared up by now.D.
