I Decided to Try and Don't Forget the Blog Candy Contest in the Post Below....

I took the plunge and decided to start trying to submit my work to various publications or for different design teams. When I saw the announcement on Lisa's blog about the CHF fresh faces design team call, I thought, "that's one for me!" I liked that they were looking for people that had not previously done any design team work. My fingers are crossed, but I've never felt that I'm of the same caliber stamping as a lot of other ladies out there, so my hopes aren't too high. Anyway, here's one of the cards that I submitted.

Stamps: Dots, Flowers, and "line" of dots from Three For You punch box, Short and Sweet
Paper: Whisper White textured CS, Old Olive textured CS, Kraft CS, Fall Flowers DS paper
Ink: Soft Sky, Sahara Sand, Old Olive
Accessories: Flower punch from Three for You punch box, staples, Soft Sky double-stitched ribbon, dimensionals

I wish I had not stamped the "dots" above the patterned paper, but knowing when to stop is something I'm working on :) I think this card is a good example of my "style" though, so I'm happy with it. Let me know what you think! Take care.

Don't forget to enter my blog candy drawing in the post below this one!!!
