I only have a moment to post (he's already screaming again). Poor little Daniel has acid reflux and so unfortunately 95% (at least) of his waking hours are spent crying because he's in pain. The medicine the doctor gave us isn't work (at least not yet) so it's been kind of miserable in our house. I hate not being able to do something to help one of my children, it's hard.
I just wanted to say thank you to Tracy who sent some CUTE CUTE CUTE little booties for Daniel and Laura who sent an adorable card (aka Stampin' Soldier). Thank you so much. Also, thank you Lynda for the thoughtful e-mail. I'm still here, just trying to get through this with the baby and not totally neglect my girls. I have done a TINY bit of stamping (out of necessity - too bad it wasn't just 'cause I wanted to and had the time!) so hopefully I'll be able to share that soon. Take care everyone, and I'll get back to posting as soon as I can!!!
***Please note that after switching from several different hosts before settling on Blogger, the formatting of my pictures may not be as it was originally intended. I simply don't have the time to go back through years of posts in order to fix the orientation of the pictures. Sometimes a picture just shows a box of text in its place, but clicking on it will allow you to see the picture. Others, there may be no picture at all. I apologize.***

Arwen had the same issues, and I added just a little rice to her bottles to help keep the food down. She was WAY much better when I did that.
ReplyDeleteHey Marie...my boy had that but not to the extreme as his cousin did...how horrible! I have one little tip that worked for Tristan (once he was old enough)...instead of starting him out with apple juice, we used white grape juice which is less acidic. Good luck and get your sleep!
ReplyDeleteOh Marie I feel so bad for you!!! Here's hoping things get better - I'll pray for you guys! Funny, I was just thinking about you today . . . even put a card in the mail to welcome Daniel! :) Take care.
ReplyDeleteMy brother and sister-in-law had that problem with both of their kids. Katelynn now 22 months has out grown it and Cooper now 11 months is out of it too. One trick they used was tilting the crib mattress up with rolled up towels and the other was elevating the babes with a pillow while they were sleeping. They changed the formula a few times and settled on soy which seemed easier on the kids systems. Good luck with this! Poor Daniel!
ReplyDeleteOh Marie!!! I'm so sorry Daniel is having such a rough time!!! I'm happy to see so many tips and I'm sorry I don't have any. I will be praying harder for all of you. God bless.
ReplyDeleteI've been there and I promise it does end. I tried every remedy I could. Trust yourself and do what you feel helps (even if your MIL doesn't agree). LOL.jean
