***Please note that after switching from several different hosts before settling on Blogger, the formatting of my pictures may not be as it was originally intended. I simply don't have the time to go back through years of posts in order to fix the orientation of the pictures. Sometimes a picture just shows a box of text in its place, but clicking on it will allow you to see the picture. Others, there may be no picture at all. I apologize.***

I would walk five hundred miles.....

Well, that's what I would do to get my family with my husband again, and I would walk 500 more, just to be all together. Now do I have that fun song in your head with my not so slick reference to it?

Anyway, I have been gone so long because it's difficult using the computer at my parents house to upload pictures, but it's even more difficult to upload pictures of projects you haven't gotten to make!!! I have to make 2 cards each for my 6 stamp club members over the next 2 days, so I will post those as soon as I get to Oklahoma in the beggining of May, where we will be joining my husband!!! Yippee!!! Also, I will have a new laptop waiting for me there, so I am hoping to find it's much easier to do the posting that I would like to do.

Anyway, thank you for your patience with me. Life in the military isn't always that fun when you're moving around the country every couple of months, and thank goodness our end is in site (in July we'll move to Delaware for at least 3 years). Take care, make sure to subscribe to my blog so you don't waste your time checking in every day, and I will post as soon as I can!!!!!

Naomi's Valentine Treats

Yes, you read it right :) It's something I've been meaning to post for a while and am just getting around to it. I don't have the recipe, let me know if you are wondering anything about it and I'll ask Naomi. I just love it when friends share what they create with what they order from me!!! Hint, hint...I'll post your stuff if you want me to! ;) Anyway, this can be adapted for any occasions (Easter, birthdays, Halloween, etc.). Enjoy!

Stamp Club Sample

Here's a card I made to send to my stamp club members. Each one is specifically monogrammed for the lady recieving it. This one is for Valerie. Tomorrow, or soon at least, I will post a picture of a project a friend made at Valentine's day. I know, late in coming, but it can totally be adapted for Easter or any other treat-giving occasion. Until then.

I'm Still Here

I've moved from Del Rio, and am in my transient location (my parents house) for an undetermined amount of time. I could leave in April when our house in Dover opens up (if our house in Del Rio has sold) or I could be here until July when Peter is done with his training (if our house in Del Rio hasn't sold). Anyway, I'm short on time, but wanted to finally post a pic for you. This is the card I mailed to Emma with her little package for Valentine's day. I used my parents scanner and still have to get the hang of it, so the picture quality isn't the greatest. I tried to figure out how to get rid of the negative space where there was no card in the scanner, but the program the scanner uses is the Microsoft Paint program, and I couldn't figure out how to do it. I hope that you can still click on it and it will be viewable larger. I posted it at the largest size possible. The card has been "used" now too, by Emma, so the ribbon is a little frayed. I thought it was really cute though! Sorry for no details - my stamping brain is a little out of it and I'd have to think to hard to list everything :) Anyway, here it is:

Okay, okay....

So, I will no longer keep that list of stamps for sale at the top. It's the post immediately below this one now. I guess I'll just have to move a bunch of unwanted/needed stamps with me all the way across the country! I'm open to offers on them, hint, hint!!

Tomorrow I will post several pictures of some things I've had to work on over the past week or so. I've had a name frame, some stamp club projects, and some cards that I have needed to make.

Stay tuned....(and buy my stamp sets!!!)
