The following text accidentally got published a week early ;) Today - the 23rd is the actual day we're traveling to the hospital. Here's what I said:
Today is an eventful day for me, so I scheduled this post about a week and a half ago. I am on my way to my little one’s pre-surgery appointment, and next week on the 30thhe will go in for 2 different surgeries. Neither are very “complicated”, but there can always be complications, so your thoughts and prayers are appreciated. The one surgery that I’ll share withyou – the other is something he wouldn’t want the whole world to know I shared about when he’s older – is he has been needing tubes in his ears for about 6 months now and we’re just finally able to get in to get that taken care of. He turns 2 next month, and has a noticeably delayed level of speech due to the fluid that is constantly in his ears. He averages at least one ear infection a month, and they are often double ear infections at that. So….in spite of a little worry over everything going okay, today is the beginning of hopefully some happier days for us, and more importantly, for him.
Now – on to why you’re really here:
I made this card for last week's Inspiration Challenge (IC184) which you can see HERE. I used THIS picture for inspiration. I changed the colors up, but used the circle patterns with my new stamp set, Circle Circus, to create the stamped images on this card. The sentiment is from Kind and Caring Thoughts - a level III hostess set in the new catalog - that I just can't get enough of. I'm very happy that I got that stamp set in my pre-order because I would never have earned it!!! That's one of the perks of being a demonstrator - being able to buy things that aren't normally for sale, or being able to buy them EARLY!!!
Anyway, I hope you like the card! I really do.
