thinking of you

I created this card based on THIS one by "iafarmgirl1" over on SCS.  I really liked how she had brads in every scallop, but I couldn't part with that many for this card (much less for my SIM gals to each make 2 of them!!!) so I settled on piercing the scallops with my Paper Piercing Tool.  I changed the colors a bit, the ribbon treatment is a little different, and so is the shape of my sentiment tag (I used the new Modern Label punch).  You may also notice that I did some sponging around the image to make it "pop".  I am like this color combo (Crushed Curry, Ruby Red, Soft Suede and Whisper White) and will probably use it again for some fall-ish cards.  What do you think?  Take care!!
