Quick Post

DSCN6251

DSCN6252This is a card that is in my Stamps in the Mail kit for the month of March.  It was a very simple layout, but I think that in real life this card is very beautiful.  The photo doesn't quite do it justice.  I liked the So Saffron layer on top of the other So Saffron layer for some subtle depth.  I just love the Friendly Words jumbo wheel that coordinates with the Friends 24-7 stamp set.  I know that my SIM participants will love it too.  I used the rock n' roll technique to get the edges of the damask inked in Chocolate Chip ink.  I'm referring my SIM participants to THIS link on Splitcoast Stampers to see a tutorial on the technique.  As many of you know, I'm not one much for re-creating the wheel...no time for that!!!  :)  Thanks for stopping by!
